We appreciate your help and you spending time with us. Thank You!  In Social Studies we have been learning about Iqaluit. Look what we were working on today! Tomorrow is an exciting day .......  - Friendly reminder that tomorrow (Nov 7th) we have Leighton Art Centre coming into our classroom. If your child has NOT brought in their field trip form please fill it out and return it tomorrow so they can participate.  - Friendly reminder to ensure that your child is coming to school dressed appropriately for the weather. It has been quite cold and we spend time outdoors for FAB each day and time outdoors for Forest School Fridays. It is important that you child is dressed accordingly (hats, mitts, scarfs, snow pants, winter jackets, boots, etc).  - We are having our Remembrance Day assembly on Friday. If you have a child in Brownies or Scouts they are welcome to wear their uniforms on this day. If your child wishes to wear their uniform please send them dressed in it that day.  - There is NO school on Monday November 11th. This is a Non Instructional day.  - Thank you for all of your support with our home reading pr

Friendly Reminders ..... - Friday is our Remembrance Day Assembly. If you have a child that is in Brownies or Scouts please send them to school wearing their uniforms if they wish to do so.  - We have our in school field trip this week. If you have not already sent in your child's permission form please do so as they were due last week. I could still use a couple of volunteers if you are interested please let me know. 

Halloween Week ....  Friendly Reminders ...  - Parents please review the email that was sent home regarding Halloween at school this week for what your child is able to bring, wear etc.  - Friday November 1st is a Non Instructional Day for students.  - Thank you to everyone who has brought in food donations for 'We Scare Hunger.' Our last day for the food drive is Thursday October 31st. We appreciate all of your support!  - Please bring in your in school field trip form if you have not already done so. Thank you to all the parents who have offered to volunteer. I am still looking for 2 more volunteers so if you have completed the volunteer requirements with the school office and are interested in helping out please let me know.

Friendly Reminders ...... Halloween Dance Party tonight at the school. Please refer to the email that was sent home for details.  Tomorrow is Forest School Friday ... Friendly Reminders .... Picture Day Orders are due tomorrow October 18th  Tomorrow is Forest School Friday! Please send your child dressed for the weather.  Home reading books come back when you child is able to read their book independently. It is helpful to ask questions throughout the book. Discuss the beginning, middle and end.  November 1st is a Non Instructional Day for students.
